Open Arms Haven is a healing centre, as well as a Spiritualist centre, and we have a very varied team of healiers and therapists offering their services every week for our visitors to enjoy.
Our Spiritual Pathway healing section is run by Ryan Saunders, with our healers Steve, May, Jean and Ian, and our trainee healers, Georgia and Samantha.
Every week, they offer spiritual healing free of charge to our visitors, and can be found in the "healing corner" of our hall. Please feel free to chat to them about their work, and learn more about Spiritual Healing.
At a special meeting of the Spiritual Pathway Healing Association in February, the Open Arms Haven was proud to see it's healers being presented with their hard earned certificates by SPHA Chairman, Rev Brian Timbrell.
Jean and Ian West (from the tea team!) and Haven staff member May Archer all gained their full healer certificates.
We are amazingly proud of our healers, and the work that they do - they are an essential part of the Haven, and their hard work makes us who we are today !
President of the SPHA, Brian Timbrell, visited the Haven once again on Sunday the 21st of March for a very special reason. Due to illness, May was unable to collect her healers certificate when the main presentation was carried out in February, so Brian kindly agreed to come and present it to her in person at the Haven.
Click here to see May being presented with her certificate. We are all really proud of you May, and are delighted to have you on board officially at the Haven !
The Haven are proud to announce that we recently gained "Approved Healing Centre" status with the Spiritual Pathway Healing Association, the recognised body for healers from all discipines of Spiritual healing.
Our healing team were presented with their certificate by Jay at a happy ceremony on the 9th of August at the Haven.
We are proud and delighted to be part of the SPHA, and would like to particularly acknowledge the hard work by Ryan and his team which led to our status as an SPHA centre.
The Open Arms Haven was delighted to welcome the Chair of the Spiritual Pathway Healing Association, Rev Brian Timbrell who visited our Centre on Sunday the 21st of February. Brian had met several of the team a couple of weeks previously, when he presented certificates to our talented healers, Jean and Ian West and May Archer.

Brian came along on an informal visit to see how the Haven operates, and enjoyed a warm welcome from the team. He was impressed with the way that the centre operates, and will be writing an article about us in the next SPHA newsletter, which we will reproduce here.
We are delighted with our positive relationship with the SPHA, and look forward to continuing to work closely with them for the future !
In addition to the SPHA team, the Haven offers a wide range of alternative therapists and healers for our visitors to discover. These therapies vary on a weekly basis, but include Reiki, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Indian Head Massage, Bowen Therapy, Hopi Ear Candling, Aromatherapy, Acupuncture, and many more. We introduce our visitors to these therapies via 15 min "taster" sessions, which give them the chance to try out new things, and find treatments which they enjoy without breaking the bank. All of our therapists work for donation of a few coins only.

Come along and try some of these amazing therapies and treatments in the peace and joyful energy of the Haven. All of our lightworkers are fully trained and qualified, and are happy to discuss any aspects of their work you may be interested in.
Every Sunday evening, from 6.30pm.
Those participating in healing or therapies have made a personal choice to do so. They are deemed threfore to have accepted responsiblity for any decisions they choose to make as a result of the treatment. No healers or therapists at the Haven will claim to be able to offer "cures", and it is essential that all visitors are aware that no treatment at the Haven is intended to be complementary, and as such should not take the place of that offered by your GP or traditional medicine.
All healing and treatments at the Haven are conducted as part of Spiritualism being a recognised religion, philosophy, and a science.
